When can we make a reservation to visit the park?

    Hi Wendy,

Thank you for taking the time to send us your question here at planDisney. I was so excited to hear the announcement that Disneyland Resort will be welcoming guests back on April 30, 2021, we have been without the magic of Disney for far too long.

While Disney has announced the official reopening dates for the Theme Parks and Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, we are still waiting to hear when ticket sales and hotel bookings will begin.  Currently, we know that Disneyland Resort will reopen for California Residents first due to current guidelines, so hopefully we will hear more for out of state and international guests soon.  I would recommend checking the Disney Parks Blog as well as the official Disneyland Resort website for the most up to date information regarding the details of Disneyland Resort's official reopening.

Another detail that was announced is that guests will now be required to have both a valid Theme Park Ticket as well as a Theme Park Reservation for everyday they would like to visit a Theme Park.  While specific details have not yet been announced, I would guess that the new reservation system will be similar to the Disney Park Pass system currently being used at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.

As new information and dates are released, please come back to visit us at planDisney if you have any other questions.  I'm sending you lots of Pixie Dust in hope that you will be able to purchase your Theme Park Tickets and visit Disneyland Resort as an out of state guest soon, Wendy.
