Hello there, Oladeji! Welcome to planDisney—I’m so excited you stopped by today!
It’s truly never too early to start dreaming about a family vacation to the Disneyland Resort. In fact, giving yourself plenty of time to plan is one of the best ways to make sure your trip in 2026 is as smooth and magical as possible.
To make a reservation to visit
Disneyland Park or
Disney California Adventure Park, you’ll begin by purchasing
theme park tickets. This can easily be done on the
Disneyland website or in the
Disneyland mobile app—although if you’re visiting from outside the United States, you may want to explore other booking options (such as via a travel agent) in case you’re unable to access the US website.
Theme park reservations can currently be made up to 180 days in advance, so once you’ve purchased your tickets and your preferred travel dates fall within that window, you can select them right away.
If you purchase your tickets through the Disneyland website or app, the system will guide you through everything step-by-step. You’ll choose your ticket type, the number of days you’d like to visit, and whether you prefer One Park Per Day tickets or the flexibility of
Park Hopper tickets. Then you’ll select your visit dates, and you’ll even have the option to add
Lightning Lane Multi Pass or pre-pay for parking if that’s helpful for your family. As soon as you complete checkout, your reservations will be confirmed—and you’ll be all set!
One thing Guests really appreciate is how flexible park reservations can be. If your plans change between now and 2026 (and with family travel, that happens more often than not!), you can easily modify your theme park reservations in the Disneyland app or on the website. As long as the new date still has availability, swapping your reservation is quick and simple.
And Oladeji, since you're planning your visit to The Happiest Place on Earth before the end of summer 2026, you’ll also be arriving during a truly special moment. The
Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration is scheduled to run through at least summer of next year, offering festive décor,
specially-themed attractions and limited-time entertainment,
commemorative merchandise, and plenty of celebratory surprises that make your visit feel even more magical. It’s a wonderful opportunity to experience something unique with your family.
Oladeji, I hope this gives you a clear roadmap as you begin planning your Disneyland Resort adventure. If you’d like suggestions for dining, must-do attractions, or ways to make your family’s visit extra memorable, please feel free to stop by and visit us at planDisney again—we’ll be delighted to help you every step of the way!
Have a magical day!
Cody
