Hello, how can I make a reservation for two parks after purchasing a park hopper ticket? Thanks.

Hello, Ricardo. Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question.

I'm excited to see that you've decided to go with the park hopper option while visiting Walt Disney World. Park hopping is my favorite way to spend a Disney day and I think you are going to enjoy it as well. Right now, Ricardo, you can only hold a park pass reservation for one theme park - the initial one you will be visiting each day. Park hopping just returned to us at the start of this year and it does look a little bit different than it did before.

Here's how park hopping is currently working:
    • Guests wishing to park hop must have standard theme park admission with the park hopper option
    • Guests wishing to park hop must make a park pass reservation for an initial theme park to visit each day
    • On that day, Guests wishing to park hop, must scan in and enter the theme park with the park pass reservation before continuing on to other theme parks later that day. This sort of "activates" the park hopper feature each day
    • It is not necessary to make additional park pass reservations to park hop. Just an initial park pass reservation each day
    • Park hopping hours now start at 2:00 p.m. and last until each park closes in the evenings
If you've purchased your park hopper tickets, linked them to your MyDisneyExperience account and have made one park pass reservation for each day of your trip, you are all set! To make park hopping a little easier for Guests at this time complimentary park-to-park bus transportation is currently being provided. Buses to other theme parks start running a little bit before 2:00 p.m. each day. To use these buses, you'll just head out of the theme park you are currently visiting and walk toward the bus stop area. You'll see a board with numbers letting you know which bus stop you should look for to get to your next destination. When the bus arrives, you'll hop on board and be whisked off to your next magical adventure.

Ricardo, I hope this helps clear up any confusion over park pass reservations and park hopping. If you have any other questions about this or anything else before your trip, please feel free to come back and ask me. Have fun and happy hopping!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
