Hi I have a reservation at the Tusker House at 11:30, and would like to see Festival of lion king at 11am. Will I have enough time to make it to the restaurant? I will be with my husband and 3 kids (7, 6 and 3 years old) thanks you!

    Hi Ramy,

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I positively love the morning that you have planned! Festival of the Lion King is a favorite for my family. There is something truly magical about this show for me. The songs, the costumes, the acrobatics - it is wonderful. Following this with a lunch at Tusker House Restaurant is perfect. I enjoy that the fare there has exotic African offerings for more adventurous eaters, as well as more traditional American fare for those who are not as adventurous. Of course, being able to meet character while you eat is wonderful as well!

The Festival of the Lion King show runs about 30 minutes, so you will be cutting it close on getting to the restaurant. However, the theater for The Festival of the Lion King and Tusker House Restaurant are extremely close to each other - I would estimate about a five-minute walk. Therefore, I think that you will be fine getting to your 11:30 a.m. reservation. You may be a few minutes late, but that should be okay. If you want to give yourself a cushion, you could see if you can slide the reservation to 11:45 a.m., but I truly would not worry about it.

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Ramy. Have a wonderful time planning your magical vacation, and please do let us know if you have any further questions.
