If I make a reservation at Tony’s Town Square Restaurant for 7pm, how much time should I expect to spend at the restaurant? Will I get out in time to make a FastPass time at 8pm?

    Hi Victoria!

This is a fantastic question and I love how thorough you are being with your planning!

Because you will have an hour for your FastPass+, you should have time to make your FastPass+ and still enjoy a nice dinner at Tony's Town Square Restaurant. You might consider taking a look at the menu before you arrive so you can order quickly and still have time to savor your meal. Also, if you are able to check in a bit early, that might help as well. When we have dined at Tony's Town Square Restaurant, even with a reservation, we had a wait time of a few minutes while other Guests enjoyed their meal. It's a popular restaurant. We are a family of four, with two kids and two adults. The time we spend at Tony's Town Square Restaurant is typically around an hour and a half. It's time well spent reliving the magical moments we have had during the day while enjoying a yummy meal.

Also keep in mind that vacation plans of other Guests may change so you might periodically visit your My Disney Experience account and check to see if you are able to modify your FastPass+ to an earlier time. Yesterday, I was helping a friend make FastPass+ selections for June. We modified times, added some attractions, and cancelled others. We made oodles of changes that opened up FastPass+ options for other Guests.

While I am still confident you can make both your dinner and your FastPass+, if you feel like you are going to be constantly looking at a clock and worrying about making it to your FastPass+, you might consider finding a different time for either your meal or your FastPass+ selection. Your time at Walt Disney World Resort is meant to be magical. I want you to be able to enjoy every moment.

You are clearly planning an amazing vacation. Enjoy all of your scheduled events and know that there may also be some spontaneous moments that take your breath away! Have a magical time!!
