I have a reservation for Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert for my daughters birthday & would like to make a res. for dinner somewhere...what time is safe to book in order to allow to eat & travel to MK to get to the dessert party on time.

    Hi Katherine!

I LOVE the Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party! Be sure to have your camera ready for some beautiful photo opportunities. What a great way to end the evening while enjoying Wishes on your daughter's birthday!

As far as timing for dining beforehand goes, it really depends on your reservation time for TTFDP and the timing of Wishes for the date you're attending. If you wish to write me back with that info, feel free to do so and I'd be happy to assist you further.

Generally speaking, you'll want to allow a good 60-90 minutes of travel time from the location at which you choose to dine that evening - if outside Magic Kingdom Park. If you choose to dine inside the park, you won't need to allow quite as much time, but I'd highly recommend dining 'earlier' as you want to have room in your tummies to be able to enjoy the beautiful selection of desserts! To be safe, I'd recommend an 'early' dinner time of no later than 5:30/6:00pm to allow travel & "tummy-resting" time! :)

Depending on your daughter's age and your wishes, you may choose to do something as simple, casual & close as dinner inside Magic Kingdom at The Plaza Restaurant or Liberty Tree Tavern or even some character fun with Winnie the Pooh and friends at The Crystal Palace.

If you'd like to venture outside the park to dine, some nearby, fun, family favourites include 'Ohana at The Polynesian, Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge or dining with Cinderella at 1900 Park Fare.

If you wish to write me back with your date, time & daughter's age and would like further recommendations & assistance, I'd be thrilled to help you further Katherine! Wishing you a Magical time as you celebrate your daughter's birthday at Walt Disney World!
