    We have a reservation at Tokyo Dining for dinner. Is it difficult to see Illuminations from the balcony? Will there be a lot of people on the balcony?

    Hi Sandra! The balcony at the Japan Pavilion used to be a little secret to get a great view of the Illuminations show. However, more and more guests are finding it so it can be more crowded now then in the past.

    Enjoy your meal at Tokyo Dining and as it gets closer to the Illuminations time step outside for the viewing from the balcony. You will have some obstruction from the decorations but it is still a great spot especially for the fireworks. Illuminations: Reflections of Earth is my all time favorite night show that Disney offers. It can be viewed around the World Showcase Lagoon but guests need to remember there are no seating areas so find a spot earlier enough where you can be comfortable.
