Hi, I have a reservation for both theme parks in California. I need to cancel them due to the entire party being sick, if my tickets expired 06/15/22 could I reschedule another day so I don't lose the tickets?

Hiya, Marieliz! I'm so glad you found your way to planDisney. First and foremost, I am sending some well wishes your way that your family recovers quickly, and you are all strolling down Main Street, U.S.A. very soon!

I know how hard it must be to have to postpone a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth. We had to do this a few times during the pandemic as well. While it was never easy to see the disappointment on my kids' faces, it did build some extra pixie-dusted anticipation! Once we were able to visit, our trip was extra magical in every way, and I think we appreciated every moment - big and small - in a brand new way.

Ok, let's take a look at those tickets! I hopefully have some good news for you. While your tickets may have passed their expiration date, don't give up on them quite yet! Each and every ticket comes with a little bit of magic that never fully expires. You are always welcome to put the value of an expired ticket towards the purchase of a new ticket of equal or higher value. My suggestion here would be to give the Guest Services team a call to get the process started. You could also visit the Main Entrance Ticket Booths in person, but you would be subject to same-day theme park reservations. The Cast Members in Guest Services would be happy to help get you on your way to the Happiest Place on Earth!

Once you have your new tickets in hand, be sure to take a peek at the Entertainment Schedule ahead of time to EARmark any shows and performances you hope to weave into your day! The Tale of the Lion King in the Fantasyland Theatre is a great way to break up your park day and get a little rest out of the sun, not to mention that it's a stunningly beautiful retelling of Simba's story! In the evenings, you will have so much to choose from between all of those Nighttime Spectaculars! Personally, I would try to catch the 50th anniversary run of the Main Street Electrical Parade. While we don't know when it will make its last appearance, we do know it's only here for a limited time, and that finale float is not to be missed! If you decide to stake out a spot for the first parade along Main Street, U.S.A., you'll also get to flood the street immediately after it passes by to catch Disneyland Forever fireworks. The perfect kiss goodnight on a Disneyland day!

I hope this was helpful, Marieliz! If you have any more questions, you know where to find us here at planDisney!

    Never stop dreaming,
    Tara
