Hi there, Margaret!
Welcome to planDisney. Thank you for sending your question to us! My kids adore the royal treatment they receive when visiting
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. The Fairy Godmother’s Apprentices make each child feel special from the moment they enter the doors of this magical boutique!
I chatted with Cast Member Veronica Rose, who said you will need to inquire about taking photos together when arriving at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. The Cast Member at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique can let you know if your son can participate in the portrait session. I am sorry that I do not have a more definite answer! Photos are generally limited to packages that include portrait sessions in my experience. However, since you are already paying for your daughter's package that includes photos, it never hurts to kindly ask if your son can jump in for a photo or two. I recommend making sure both kids' appointments are at the same time to increase your odds of capturing a photo of the kids together.
Photos are my favorite souvenirs from my family's vacations! Fortunately, there are plenty of spots where you can take snapshots of your kids if Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique cannot accommodate your request.
Snow White Grotto on the other side of
Sleeping Beauty Castle is the perfect location for a photo shoot! Many Guests do not know that this adorable area exists, and it is so pretty! I also like taking photos of my kids sitting in the tea cup next to the
Mad Tea Party attraction in Fantasyland. Sometimes a
Disney PhotoPass Photographer is there who can also take their pictures!
Speaking of Disney PhotoPass, you can search for
PhotoPass Photographers on the
Disneyland mobile app. Open the app and click on the teardrop icon at the bottom of the screen to view the park maps. At the top of the map, tap the arrow pointing downwards, and choose PhotoPass. This will show you where the Photographers can be found! I suggest purchasing
Lightning Lane Multi Pass, which includes all your photos from the day and allows you to skip the standby lines on most attractions. This way, you can join your kids in some of the photos (since you won't have to take the pictures yourself!).
Margaret, I wish had a more concrete answer to your question. Regardless of where the photos are taken, I hope your family makes many magical memories during your upcoming trip!
Magic Happens!
