We have a reservation to Teppan Edo for 6pm in Epcot on March 26th. If I choose to cancel this reservation will there be a charge? We have not decided yet on this one and feel that we may want to just pick a place when we arrive. Any tips? Thanks

    Hi Windy!

Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel!

Some restaurants at Walt Disney World Resort, particularly Signature dining, and some others, require payment or credit card guarantee at the time of booking.  For these restaurants, there is a one-day cancellation policy and a $10 per-person fee will be charged if you cancel within one day of the reservation or are a "no show" for the reservation.

Teppan Edo is not a restaurant that requires a credit card guarantee, and therefore there is currently no cancellation charge, but if you know you wish to cancel your booking I would recommend that you do so at your earliest opportunity, out of courtesy to other guests who may be trying to secure a reservation there.

I would also strongly recommend making as many reservations as you can, before you arrive at Walt Disney World.  Many restaurants become fully booked and it is sometimes difficult to find an opening at your chosen restaurants without a reservation.   To avoid being disappointed, advance dining reservations can be made online, or by calling (407) 939 3463, up to 180 days ahead of time.

If you have any other questions, please come back and ask me - I would be happy to help you plan your magical vacation.
