Hi Sharon,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. My fellow Moms Panelists will tell you that I am a tea fanatic, so it was my pleasure to resEARch the answer to this question, as I’m sure I’ll find myself enjoying this tea experience someday very soon. I absolutely love all the nods to tea drinking in Epcot’s United Kingdom Pavilion!
I’m so excited for you that you’ve made a reservation for the
Rose & Crown Pub & Dining Room Tea Experience. Learning how to brew a perfect cup, sampling different tea varieties, plus sandwiches and scones? It sounds like a perfectly lovely way to start a morning!
Sharon, I reached out to a Walt Disney World Dining Cast Member, who confirmed that tax is included in the current price of $30 per person. Gratuity is not included, but is a wonderful way to sprinkle some pixie dust on the tea expert who leads your experience.
As a collector of coffee and tea cups, I think a fun way to remember your experience is to pop into one of the gift shops afterward and purchase a special souvenir cup.
The Tea Caddy shop in Epcot’s United Kingdom pavilion is the perfect place to visit. On my last visit, they had the cutest Mickey Mouse tea ball, along with lots of great mug options.
As Alice says, “would you like to go on an adventure now, or shall we have tea first?” I hope you and your group have a
wonderful tea time, and a magical vacation.
