Hello, If I make a reservation for a table service that requires 2 points, will my quick service meal convert to the additional point or will a separate days table service point be used?

    Hey there, Erika!

Welcome to planDisney, and excellent question. Haluna Matata, I’m here to help you navigate and manage your dining plan credits.

My family loves visiting Walt Disney World with a Dining Plan. The dining plan is what won my husband over and is now a must anytime we travel as a family. He loves using the dining plan to try different restaurants, including ones we haven’t tried. Of course, we still make reservations at our favorite spots like Topolino’s Terrace and Coral Reef. However, with the dining plan, we’ve tried new locations like Story Book Dining at Artist Point, which requires two credits per person.

When you dine here or at any other two credit locations, your dining plan will be deducted as two table service credits per person. So to answer your question, yes, it will technically pull from a different day. However, your dining credits will appear as one larger number broken down by their category. Snacks, Quick-Service, and Table-Service will be the categories with the total allotted number under each one. The total number will factor in everyone on your reservations allotments for their length of stay. So while it isn’t broken by day, you can plan your reservations out by day on your end to help keep track of your entitlements.

An easy way to preserve the needed two credits for your upcoming reservation is to keep one of your days free of a Table-Service meal. Just plan for two Quick-Service meals that day. That’s what we did, and it worked out just fine. You can also keep track of your remaining credits throughout your stay. There are three different ways you can. The first is on your My Disney Experience mobile app. You can also check your dining receipts, or visit your Resort Concierge or any Guest Relations locations to get an updated count.

Erika, I hope this helps answer your question so that you can continue to plan out all your meals for your upcoming visit. If there’s anything else you need or any other dining recommendations, don’t hesitate to ask!

    Enjoy,

    Shantel
