    Derek from CA Asked

Does the reservation system for rides like Rise of the Resistance still work the same?

    Bright Suns, Derek!

Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for bringing your stellar question our way!

It sounds like you’re getting “Resistance Ready” and I’m here to help! The process to join the virtual queue for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is almost identical to what it was prior to the theme park closures. The major difference is Guests starting their day at Disneyland Park may attempt to secure their position beginning at 7:00 a.m. While Guests starting their day at Disney California Adventure Park may attempt to join the virtual queue beginning at 12:00 p.m. But, those Guests will also need to have entered Disney California Adventure Park with a valid Park Hopper ticket by noon on the day of their visit. Beginning at 12:00 p.m., they may access the virtual queue system to check for available boarding groups. Please note that Park Hopping begins at 1:00 p.m. each day, subject to availability. If a Guest is successful in joining the virtual queue, they may enter Disneyland Park after that time to experience the attraction.

I hope you are able to secure a boarding group for your party! May the Force be with you!

Greetings from San Diego, CA! I'm a wife, cat mom and Disney-loving "childless millennial." I've traveled all around the world, but my favorite place to visit is "The Happiest Place on Earth!" I've been going to the Disneyland Resort for over 25 years. Each time I step through the turnstiles to enter the world of yesterday, tomorrow and fantasy, I feel the magic of Walt Disney's original park. I can't wait to answer your questions and help you experience all that the Disneyland Resort has to offer! Learn More About Tiffanie
