We have a reservation at 8:05am Sunday at Magic Kingdom which is before park opens. How can we be sure to be there early enough to get through security and make our reservation on time? We are staying at All Stars Sports and will have our car too.

    Hi there Briana!

How exciting that you have an early morning dining reservation at Magic Kingdom Park

First things first, let's talk about your awesome Disney Resort Collections hotel. At Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort, you’re not only surrounded by the fun and excitement of sports themes, but you also have some fantastic perks. One of the best is the complimentary transportation from your hotel to all the Theme Parks, Disney Springs, and the Water Parks. This makes getting around super convenient and stress-free.

Now, since you're an official Disney Resort Guest, you get to enjoy Early Theme Park Entry, which means you can enter the Theme Parks each day 30 minutes before the general public. This Sunday, Early Theme Park Entry starts at 8:30am, but since you have an 8:05am reservation, you'll need to be there a bit earlier.

Here's the game plan: Resort transportation to the theme parks starts running at least one hour before the park opens. To make sure you get through security and to your reservation on time, aim to be at the bus stop by 7:20am. If you can get there a bit earlier, even better! The buses are a great option because they drop you off right near the park entrance, saving you from the extra steps involved with driving.

Speaking of driving, I don’t love driving to Magic Kingdom Park. If you drive, you'd have to park at the Ticket and Transportation Center, and then hop on a Monorail or Ferryboat to get to the park. While this can be a fun experience, it takes more time. In this instance, buses from your resort are often quicker and drop you off closer to the entrance.

When you arrive at Magic Kingdom Park, look for the designated line for guests with early morning dining reservations or Enchanting Extras Collection bookings. Have your reservation confirmation handy, and if you’re unsure where to go, don’t hesitate to ask a Cast Member—they’re always happy to help.

Enjoy your magical morning and have a fantastic time at Magic Kingdom! There’s nothing like starting your day with a special dining experience. Have a blast!
