    Lisa from ON Asked

If I want to make a reservation for Summer of 2023, when can i book? What is the best way to get to a Disney resort from Airport and then Cape Canveral for Disney Cruise?

    Ahoy Lisa!

Thank you for submitting your question and welcome back to planDisney! As a fellow Canadian, I am so glad to have you here and I am thrilled to be answering your question today. I also love that you are already looking into planning your visit for 2023. The planning process is definitely one of my favourite parts of a Disney vacation and sometimes the only way to get out of the post-Disney blues!

Now let's talk about planning a Disney trip! First, you are correct that there is a limit on how far ahead you can make a reservation. When it comes to Resort Hotel reservations, bookings are available as far as 499 days in the future. For dining reservations, you may book a dining reservation as far as 60 days in the future. You can do so either on the website or by contacting a Reservation Center Cast Member via chat, email or phone. Cast Members indeed are real-life magic makers and will help you with anything you need!

As for your cruise, let's seA what options are available to you! There are a few ways to get from the airport to your resort and Cape Canaveral. First, you can take a taxi or use a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft. Taxis and rideshares are an excellent option as they get you to your destination directly without worrying about parking or directions, but they can be a bit more expensive. A second option would be to rent a car if you would like more flexibility and autonomy. Parking is available at Disney Resort Hotels, the theme parks and near the cruise terminal at varying rates. Third, although Disney's Magical Express is no longer available from the Orlando International Airport, you can still arrange for ground transportation and luggage transfers to and from your cruise. Indeed, you can still book ground transportation from your resort for an additional fee by getting in contact with a representative by phone. The shuttle service "Mears Connect" also now offers a similar service to your resort from the airport for an additional fee and with the option to upgrade for a more direct ride.

I hope this was helpful, Lisa, and that you will be able to start planning your next visit as soon as possible! If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to reach out as our crew will be happy to assist you!

Have a magical day and seA you real soon,
