Hello, Jennifer,
It sounds like you are planning a great day at the Disneyland Resort. And with access to everything at the Disneyland Resort so convenient, I think your plan will work out very smoothly for you.
Access to
Disney California Adventure Park through the
entry gate found within
Disney’s Grand California Hotel & Spa may sometimes be limited to registered hotel Guests only. Going the other direction, from the theme park to the hotel, does not have that same restriction. You are welcome to pass from the
Grizzly Peak area into the hotel so you can maximize your time in the theme park before you exit to enjoy your meal at
Storytellers Cafe.
Tony’s Tip: During periods when the entry gate to Disney California Adventure Park is less busy, even those who are not registered Guests of the hotel may be permitted to return to the park using that path. At other times, a receipt from a same-day visit to a hotel restaurant may usually be presented to qualify for this unique benefit for hotel Guests. Alternatively, the path through the hotel to the
Downtown Disney District may be used by anyone visiting the hotel. That path offers convenient access to either Disney California Adventure Park or
Disneyland Park along with some of the finest window shopping around.
I hope you have a magical time at the Disneyland Resort, Jennifer. If you have any more planning we can help with, we’d love to hear from you again here at planDisney.
See ya real soon!
~Tony
