If I have a reservation to stay at one Disney Resort, if there is availability at another Disney Resort during the same time, can I change my reservation to the other resort?

    Hi Pamela! Welcome to planDisney!

You are going to LOVE staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel next week! My family has a mission to stay at every Disney Resort hotel at least once, but it can be tough when we have favorites that we return to. I guess that just means we need to visit more often, right? A girl can dream!

I have changed my reservations to a different resort plenty of times! You can call Disney at (407) 939-1936 to update your reservation. The Cast Member can let you know of any cost difference including if it is less expensive or more expensive, which may help make your decision on whether to switch resorts or not.

You can also consider a split stay where you are at your originally booked resort for part of your trip, but then switch to a different resort for the rest of your vacation. This is a great way to explore more options! Even better, Bell Services at your Disney Resort hotel can help make the transition smoothly by transferring your luggage to the second resort for you while your family is off enjoying the magic. How great is that?!

I hope this helps, Pamela! Please let us know if you have any other questions.

One of my favorite things about taking a Disney Parks vacation is that there is always something new and wonderful to discover, no matter if this is your first trip or if you visit multiple times per year. I'm excited to help you plan your next adventure!
