Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Myrna!
As a fellow Disney Vacation Club Member, you're as welcome as can be here at planDisney. While I love visiting Walt Disney World Resort with my family each year, I think one of the coolest parts of Disney Vacation Club Membership is having the flexibility to use your Vacation Points in so many different ways –– whether you're traveling the globe
with
Adventures by Disney, setting sail with Disney Cruise Line, or even enjoying time at a non-Disney destination, there are so many ways to make magic for your family. I'm excited to hear that you're planning a DVC
Concierge Collection stay and I'm happy to share a few details with you about the booking process.
While
Points Charts for Concierge Collection stays are available on the Disney Vacation Club website, you'll need to give Member Services a call at (800) 800-9800 to begin converting your Vacation Points to Reservation Points and booking your reservation.
Booking a Concierge Collection reservation also works a little differently than booking DVC reservations, so there are a few things you'll want to keep in mind. Each Concierge Collection reservation requires a non-refundable $95 transaction fee, due at the time your reservation is confirmed. Reservations are also subject to the
Rule of Four, which means that you can't book reservations during the last four months of your Use Year if you'll be traveling during the same year. Also, remember that once your Vacation Points have been converted to Reservation Points, they can no longer be used to book Disney Vacation Club reservations. This means that in the event your Concierge Collection stay needs to be canceled, those Points can't be used for DVC Resort bookings.
One final thing to note is that the cancelation and modification rules for Concierge Collection stays differ from DVC reservations. In fact, each Concierge Collection property has different guidelines and requirements, so be sure to check out the
Cancelations and Modifications Guidelines in the Plan a Vacation section of the DVC website for more details. Also, unlike DVC bookings that can be modified with no fee, each Concierge Collection modification is considered a cancelation and rebooking, so it will require the payment of an additional $95 transaction fee.
Thanks for visiting planDisney, Myrna. I hope this helped to answer your question, and no matter where in the world your travels take you, I'm wishing you plenty of Membership magic along the way!
Happy Planning,
Amy
