Hello there, Brandon. Thanks for stopping by
planDisney with your question. Disney dining is one of my favorite things to chat about.
Brandon, are you staying at a
Walt Disney World Resort Hotel on your upcoming vacation? If so, you'll be able to make your dining reservations for the length of your stay - up to ten days. If you are staying off-property then you will need to make your dining reservations one day at a time.
You can make dining reservations online starting at 6:00 a.m. Mickey Mouse's time. You can also call 407-WDW-DINE and have a Cast Member assist you with your dining reservations starting at 7:00 a.m. I'd recommend setting your alarm clock for around 5:50 a.m. and being up and logged in to your
MyDisneyExperience account before 6:00 a.m. Sometimes, the very best restaurants can fill up quickly.
If you are looking for a dinner recommendation, Brandon, right now my favorite spot is
The BOATHOUSE at Disney Springs. It's set right on the lake and provides the most stunning views in the evening. You can watch the sunset and then the lights of Disney Springs come alive. The menu is extensive and offers a wide variety that will please even the pickiest of eaters. I've had many menu items but my go-to right now is the lobster roll served warm with butter and I always upgrade to the truffle fries. They are mouth-watering delicious. If you are a fan of desserts, their key lime pie in a jar is a 10 out of 10 if you ask me. It's sweet and tart and a perfect addition to a fantastic meal.
I'm also really loving
Steakhouse 71 right now which is located at Disney's Contemporary Resort. This restaurant just opened in October and I've had the please of dining there a few times already. All of the meals I've had there have been delicious. I've actually had every menu item on the dinner menu, believe it or not, and I don't have one bad thing to say about any of it. Probably my favorite entree right now is the beef tenderloin medallions and I absolutely love the macaroni and cheese. For dessert, I highly recommend the ambrosia. It's defiantly not your grandmother's recipe. It's a modern take on an old classic and I was pleasantly surprised by it.
I hope this helps. If you have any other questions, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I would be more than happy to help.
Have fun and enjoy!
Jackie H.
