Hiya, Roy!
As you are aware, each Guest of the Disneyland Resort theme parks currently needs both valid theme park admission and a
theme park reservation. The reservation can indeed be canceled. And a new reservation, either for another date or for a different theme park, can be booked. As long as there is availability showing on the
theme park availability calendar, you should be able to make that change.
Tony’s Tip: Theme park availability can fluctuate quickly. If you happen to be looking for a reservation on a date that has been showing limited availability, I recommend acting as quickly as possible. You may want to have multiple web pages open at the same time. First, do a refresh on the
theme park availability calendar to make sure the park is still available. Then cancel the existing reservation from the “
My Theme Park Reservations” page. Then return to the “
My Theme Park Reservations” page to book the new reservation.
I hope you have an amazing time at the Disneyland Resort, Roy. If you haven’t already purchased the
Disney Genie+ service with your
theme park tickets, you may want to consider adding it to your tickets after you enter the theme park. It's a great way to maximize the magic during your visit. You can book
Lightning Lane reservations. And you get complimentary downloads of your
Disney PhotoPass photos. After you have scanned your ticket at the park entrance, you may purchase Genie+ by tapping “Get Disney Genie+ for Today” in the Disneyland app. If you have a multi-day ticket, you will need to go through this process for each day that you wish to purchase the service. And don’t worry, whether you purchased Genie+ at the same time as your ticket or on each day you visit the parks, the total price is the same.
See ya real soon!
