    We have a reservation for SSRS Treehouse Villa in March 2011.Our 2 sons,5 and 2 including my mom will be with us. Due to its location from MK would it be advisable to get a closer hotel such as BLT? How far is Saratoga to MK? What about transportation?Thx!

    Hi Teresa! OMG! You have reservations at The Treehouse Villas at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa! Congratulations! We are planning to stay at each of the Disney Vacation Club Resorts and, although we have stayed at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, we can't wait to stay at The Treehouse Villas. Don't get me wrong, Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort is great and it is one of our Homes away from Home, but there are only 60 Treehouse Villas and demand exceeds availability. Okay, okay, enough of my jealousy about your upcoming vacation. 

    You will need to take an internal shuttle bus or walk to The Springs bus stop and travel to Magic Kingdom, Disney's Animal Kingdom Park, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Epcot. Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is 5 miles away from Magic Kingdom. We really enjoy Disney transportation, especially the convenience and VIP front door drop off and pick up.
