I have a reservation for Splitsville on May 13th at 6:45. How do I get a reservation for bowling if this does not include it?

Hello, Ashley! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question.

I'm really excited that you'll be visiting Splitsville Luxury Lanes when you are at Walt Disney World in May. It's such a fun place and the food is really delicious! My daughter actually just celebrated her birthday there back in March so I just went through the process of reserving a lane. If you've made reservations already, those will be a dining reservation only and does not come with a lane for bowling. If you'd like to bowl while you are there you have two options. The first option is to just walk in and add your name to a waiting list for bowling. It could be a 5-minute wait or a 50-minute wait, there are no guarantees. The other option is to reserve a lane ahead of time. To do this, you'll need to call Splitsville Luxury Lanes, the actual restaurant phone number not the Walt Disney World dining reservation line, and speak to a manager. She will email you a form to fill out to reserve your lane. This will include the date, time you'd like and all of your contact information. On top of that form, you will be charged a fee (in March it was $10.00 per person in our party) to hold the lane. This is a reservation fee only and does not get applied to the bowling cost or food. Because we were celebrating my daughter's birthday, we went ahead and made a reservation. However, when we arrived I realized we really didn't need to do that. There was not a long wait for bowling on that day but then again you never know. I think if you are looking to go on a weekday you'd be fine not making a reservation but if you were visiting on a weekend, it might be a good option.  Your bowling time is dependant on how many people you have in your party. If you have 1-2 people you have the lane for 1 hour, 3-4 people you have the lane for 1 hour 15 minutes, 5-6 people for 1 hour 30 minutes and for 7-8 people you get it for 1 hour 45 minutes. We were in the 3-4 people category as there were 4 of us when we went. During our 1 hour 15 minutes on the lane we got in almost two full games and enjoyed our dining while bowling.

Ashley, I hope you have a lot of fun at Splitsville Luxury Lanes whichever route you decide to go for bowling. If you have any other questions before your trip, please feel free to come back and ask me. I'm here to help.

    Have fun!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
