If you already have a reservation and a new
special or discount becomes available, you can absolutely try to apply it to your existing booking.
Disney is flexible about letting guests take advantage of new offers, as long as their reservation qualifies. The main thing to know is that the discount has to apply to your exact travel dates, resort, and room category. Sometimes the offer is limited to certain resorts or certain room types, so availability can make a difference.
The easiest way to check is through your
My Disney Experience account. If your reservation shows the option to “modify,” you can try to adjust it yourself right in the app or online. That will allow you to apply the new special if it’s available for your stay. If the system doesn’t give you that option, don’t worry, you can
call Disney directly and speak to a Cast Member. They can look at your reservation, check availability, and update the price if the special applies.
It never hurts to ask, and many people do save money this way. I've been able to apply a special offer to my existing reservations several times. It really helps us to budget and use those extra funds for gifts or snacks!
Just remember that specials are limited, so the sooner you check, the better your chances of grabbing the deal.
