Hello and welcome to
planDisney, Gina. I'm so glad you've stopped by to chat about Space 220.
I recently enjoyed a meal at
Space 220 and let me tell you, it was out of this world! It's such a cool experience, I think you are really going to enjoy it. The way the lounge area works at Space 220 has recently changed. As you know, you now can secure an advanced dining reservation to sit and enjoy the lounge area. The lounge is actually my favorite way to experience Space 220. It is set right in the middle of the restaurant providing stellar views - it is the same experience as any other Guests would have with a standard reservation. I think you'll be happy to know that kids are indeed allowed in the lounge area of Space 220. However, they are not allowed to sit at the bar at this time. With your reservation, you are all set. Your kids will be permitted in the area. The bar itself is still going to work on a first-come, first-serve walk-up list and will be only for Guests 21 and older.
When you are in the
lounge at Space 220, you have a few options for dining. You can enjoy the flight-bite menu which is small plates and appetizers along with beverages or you can opt-in for the prix-fixe meal. The choice is yours. I personally really enjoy ordering off of the f
light bite menu with one of the many amazing Atmospheric Sprits (cocktails). If you are looking for a dining suggestion, the blue moon cauliflower is probably one of my favorite menu items.
I hope this helps, Gina. If you have any other questions before you go, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm happy to help! If you haven't already, head over to
planDisney's Instagram page and follow along. Over there you'll see panelists in the parks and maybe get some great ideas for your next vacation.
