I want to make a reservation for Space 220

    Hello there, Kathy, and welcome!

Here at planDisney, we are a group of moms, dads, grandparents, aunts, uncles and even puppy parents who love sharing our knowledge and expertise on how to make your Walt Disney World vacation truly magical. Because I'm a Guest, just like you, I actually can't make your advanced dining reservation for you. However, I'll walk you through the steps on making those advanced dining reservations so you'll be able to do it for all the trips to come.

Kathy, Guests can start making advanced dining reservations 60 days prior to their stay. If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, on that 60 day out mark, you'll be able to make those reservations for the length of your stay up to 10 days. There are two ways to make dining reservations. You can make them online or via the MyDisneyExperience mobile app starting at 6:00 a.m. Mickey Mouse's time or over the phone by calling 407-WDW-DINE starting at 7:00 a.m.  I see that you are well within your booking window, so if you haven't already, I do recommend doing this asap as some of the most popular places do tend to fill up quickly.

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of trying out the all-new Space 220 restaurant and it was definitely an out-of-this-world experience. The dining atmosphere is so neat, you really do feel like you are dining 220 feet above Epcot. It's a lot of fun. If you aren't able to secure a dining reservation for either lunch or dinner, Kathy, I have a suggestion for you. The lounge is actually operating on a walk-up first-come, first-serve list. The lounge area is right in the middle of the restaurant so you are still going to have those amazing views while you dine. Something I personally love about the lounge is that you can order off of the flight bite menu (appetizers) if you aren't that hungry. But you also have the option to enjoy the whole prix fixe menu as well. The flight bites were my favorite part of the meal so this is the option my family and I will be using to enjoy outer space from here on out. If this sounds like the route you'll want to go, all you have to do is show up at the restaurant when you are ready to enjoy. Sometimes there is a wait and other times you'll be able to go right on up. It's a perfect alternative to a dining reservation, especially because they are so hard to get right now.

I hope this helps, Kathy. If you have any other questions, please feel free to stop back by and ask me. I'm here to help. Have fun and enjoy!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
