Hello, Abdullah,
Thanks for such a great question. My family, as well as many of our friends, choose to adhere to special diets, including for religious or other reasons. We have all found the Disneyland Resort to be quite accommodating for various
special dietary needs. While none of the
restaurants in the Disneyland Resort theme parks or at the
Downtown Disney District is halal certified, you will still find many vegetarian and seafood options that you may find appealing. It may also be worth giving the
Disneyland Resort Dining Reservations line a call. Though not guaranteed, they may be able to make special arrangements at select restaurants to special order halal meats with advance notice. You may also ask additional questions directly to the
Special Diets Team via email. Note that there are also several halal restaurants in the area around Disneyland.
As for non-alcoholic drinks, you are in for a treat! I too do not drink alcohol. And I enjoy the many alcohol-free beverages around the Disneyland Resort. Some fun frozen drinks we enjoy are the
Memory Refreshers available at
Bing Bong's Sweet Stuff in
Pixar Pier. Similar, but still unique cold drinks can be found at the Serv-Ice station attached to
Ramone's House of Body Art in
Cars Land. We also visited the new Lamplight Lounge and Oga's Cantina this past weekend. At
Lamplight Lounge in Pixar Pier, we loved the Goofball Island and the Infinity Fizz drinks. At
Oga's Cantina in
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, we enjoyed the Blue Bantha and Blurrgfire. And, of course, all dining locations have a selection of soft drinks available for your enjoyment.
Have a magical time, Abdullah!
