Ahoy Ryan,
Welcome back to planDisney! Under the sea at
Sebastian's Bistro, the tastes of the Caribbean will delight and enchant you (if you aren't a picky eater, that is). Although I'm sure your little ones would enjoy filling up on the delicious buttery house-baked pull-apart rolls and scrumptious dessert, I completely understand wanting them to have a bit more sustenance. I just recently returned from a visit to Walt Disney World Resort with young Mouseketeers, and their palates were zeroed in on chicken fingers and French fries, so dinner at Sebastian's Bistro would've been a challenge.
In my experience with table service dining locations, such as Sebastian's Bistro, some places will let you bring in food from a quick service location for picky eaters, and some won't. I've primarily found that when there are Prix-fix menus, they tend not to allow outside food. However, I have yet to find a definitive policy. So I spoke to a Cast Member to learn a little more. Unfortunately, there isn't a set policy at Sebastian's Bistro, so it is really up to the location's discretion. My motto is it doesn't hurt to ask, so I suggest talking to the Cast Member at check-in to see if they are okay with outside food for your kids. I would recommend even stopping by the day before (if possible) in case you decide you would like to cancel your reservation for more conservative dining options. One alternative to consider is '
Ohana; it has a little bit of island adventure mixed with classics that will please everyone's palate.
I hope this was helpful, Ryan. Thank you so much for your question, and please come back and see us if you need anything else.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
