Hello there, Christian!
This Jersey girl is also a huge Star Wars fan. I’m glad I can help you navigate the galaxy and your vacation planning around
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Seeing my husband build a lightsaber at
Savi’s Workshop - Handbuilt Lightsabers was a special Disney experience, especially when he turned into pixie dust the first time he saw his lightsaber light up. I’m so excited that you are planning to experience this
Enchanting Extra soon too.
Now let’s figure out why your reservation has the wrong name- who knows, maybe your reservation is a bit of a Star Wars scoundrel and getting into character. First, visit your My Disney Experience account and look at
“My Plans.” Once you’re on the page, scroll down to your Savi’s Workshop reservation and select “Show Details” to see who the participating Guest is. Hopefully, it lists your name with the correct spelling.
If the spelling is incorrect here, you may need to fix the spelling of your
My Disney Experience account profile. After you’ve made it to the profile page, select “Account Settings” and check to see if your name is spelled correctly under “Personal Information.” If this doesn’t work, I suggest
calling the Walt Disney World Resort to confirm that you have a reservation linked to your account and inquire about why the wrong name is appearing under your reservation.
Like C-3PO, it’s been a pleasure to be at your service.
Feel free to follow up if you’re looking for any other Star Wars-themed recommendations for your upcoming visit.
May the magic be with you!
Melanie
