I have a reservation for 4 at Roundup Rodeo at 8:40 on June 1st but we are a family of 5. I am seeing a ton of reservations for 1-4 on that day but none for 5. Is it possible to add a person to the table? If not how can I reserve a table for 1 by myself?

    Hey howdy hey, Steven!

Welcome to planDisney and thanks so much for galloping over with your question about your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation. It sounds like you're hoping to enjoy a tasty meal at Roundup Rodeo BBQ with some of your favorite cowpokes - yee-haw! I'm happy to help you out, Steven. You've got a friend in me!

I understand that you're hoping to add a Guest to your existing dining reservation. The best way to do this is by using the My Disney Experience mobile app. In the app, navigate to "Future Plans" and select the dining reservation that you'd like to modify.  Tap "Modify" and update the Party Size to five Guests. Now, you should see any available reservations listed by time. If you don't see what you want, I recommend checking back periodically, as folks' plans change all the time! Alternatively, you could try booking another dining reservation for the same time for a party of one. However, in order to secure two reservations within the same timeframe, you'll have to have another family member make the reservation, as the same Guest can't hold two dining reservations within the same window of time.

Steven, if you're unavailable to update your existing reservation, there's still hope. I've had luck adding a Guest to a dining reservation at the time of check-in at the restaurant, however, this is subject to availability. Since Roundup Rodeo BBQ at Disney's Hollywood Studios is incredibly popular, please understand that this may not be possible in all situations. When you arrive at the restaurant, I recommend that you giddy-up to the host desk and request to add an additional Guest to your dining reservation. Since Roundup Rodeo BBQ offers Mobile Dine Check-in, you may even be able to complete this change right in the My Disney Experience mobile app!

I hope that you've found this information helpful, Steven! I'm wishing your family the rootin'est tootin'est time at the Walt Disney World Resort. If you have any additional planning questions, please mosey back over to planDisney again anytime!

    So long partner,
