Hi Elizabeth!
Welcome to planDisney!
An adults-only Disney trip? Where do I sign up?! I didn’t visit
The Most Magical Place on Earth sans kids until I already had a ton of family trips under my belt, but fair warning: once I did, I almost didn’t want to do Disney any other way. But shhh... don’t tell my kids!
In all seriousness, both kinds of trips are magical in their own way, but there really is a super fun, totally different side of the magic to experience when you’re traveling with your taller besties!
Ok, but let’s get into your question, Elizabeth. The quick and simple answer is: YES! You can reserve two rooms for your party of five adults and request that the rooms connect. I love this setup for a group because everyone gets a little extra space to spread out, plus an extra bathroom. That alone can feel like its own little vacation perk!
Now there is a tiny caveat to keep in mind. Connecting rooms are a request and can’t be guaranteed. Disney will definitely do their best to accommodate your request, but it ultimately depends on what’s available when your rooms are assigned.
Here’s a pro-tip: When you
make your reservations, be sure to add all five Guests and request connecting rooms. I’d also recommend mentioning that request again when you complete Online Check-In. If being close together is more important than having that interior connecting door, you can also ask for adjoining or nearby rooms. That gives the room assignment team a little more flexibility.
And one last extra little tip from me: when you arrive at your Disney Resort hotel, it never hurts to stop by the Front Desk and very kindly ask if they were able to work some magic with your room request!
I hope you and your crew have the BEST time together, Elizabeth. I hope you plan on soaking in the late-night, post-firework vibes, eat all the snacks, and that nobody has to be talked out of buying another souvenir. At least, that’s how it works with my friends!
See ya real soon,
Emille
