Hiya Kathleen!
Welcome to planDisney! This
brand-new system of accessing the Lighting Lanes of attractions will not start until July 24 but it's already stirring up a lot of questions. I'm excited to see how it will really work when it gets going but I do have an answer to your question already!
Annual Passholders have to have a valid
theme park reservation and a linked stay at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel to be able to purchase a
Lightning Lane Multi Pass 7 days before they arrive. This could change but Annual Passholders may be able to purchase the Lightning Lane Multi Pass for any park, not just for the one where you have the theme park reservation. Make sure that your reservation is linked to your
MyDisney account and can be seen in your
My Disney Experience. This should be the same account that you have linked to the Annual Pass which you must then have a theme park reservation arranged with.
It looks like you are arriving during the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival! With your Annual Pass, park hopping is a must-do, and ending your day with a treat from the festival sounds like perfection. Lightning Lane Multi Pass allows for guests to book return times in multiple parks which will be great if you do park hop. Imagine breezing onto the peace that is Living with the Land using the Lightning Lane entrance and then grabbing a delicious meal from a Global Marketplace. It's a delightful way to end any day.
I hope this helps and if you have any more questions please
let me know!
Happy Planning!
