If we have a reservation at the resort, can I do the online check in and pick up the magic bands for everybody in my party? Or they all have to be present to pick them up??

    Hi Paola,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!

You’ll be happy to know that, if you can’t have your MagicBands shipped to you (for example, because you live outside of the United States), you can absolutely pick them up for your party when you check in for your stay at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel. The only catch is that you can typically only pick up the MagicBands for the people who are staying in the same hotel room as you for your vacation.

If, however, some members of your party are staying in another room, you should be able to pick their bands up too if your resort reservations are linked. If that’s the case, I would recommend contacting Walt Disney World Resort in order to ensure that your reservations are properly linked together. it also wouldn’t hurt for you to have an email or some kind of written confirmation from them that specifically authorizes you to pick up their MagicBands at the Front Desk.

I hope my answer helps you plan a magical start to your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
