    If a reservation is purchased to a resort without the meal plan can it be added later?

    Hi, Amanda!

    Without knowing your reservation type or booking method, generally speaking if you book through Walt Disney World, the Disney Dining Plan can be added to your reservation. There is some "fine print" such as you need to have booked a room with tickets, and all guest staying in your room must be on the same plan.  The Disney Dining Plan needs to be added at least 72 hours prior to arrival, allowing Mickey and his team enough time to update your reservation.

    To find out the details of your reservation, call one of the friendly Cast Members at (407)W-DISNEY.  Have your reservation number handy. Your information can be reviewed and you can find out if your reservation is eligible for the Disney Dining Plan and what the cost would be.

    I hope you are able to add on the Disney Dining Plan! I personally really enjoy the desserts that are included with lunch and dinner. Did someone say Chocolate Cake with Mickey sprinkles? Life is magical at Walt Disney World!
