we have a reservation at 4.40 for the 50s primetime diner and then at 6.45 for savis workshop. I'm not confident it will be enough time to eat and get to the workshop reservation how long would you recommend between these reservations? thank you!

Hello there, Sara! Welcome to planDisney. You must be getting so excited with your trip so quickly approaching. It won't be long before Mickey and Minnie welcome you to the Most Magical Place on Earth. Oh boy! Oh boy! Oh boy!

It looks like you are enjoying some of my favorites at Disney's Hollywood Studios. I was recently served up a wonderful meal and a lot of laughs with Cousin Mary and good friends at 50's Prime Time Café. Personally, I think a 4:40 pm reservation for dinner is plenty of time to make a 6:45 pm reservation at Savi's Workshop.

I want to enjoy my vacation and not feel stressed, so I have a few ideas to help you ease your mind. First, you can check into your dining reservation starting at 4:20 pm on the My Disney Experience app or at the restaurant.

50's Prime Time is known for dishing out hearty servings of fried chicken with a little bit of a playful attitude. You can let your server know you are fueling up to go scrapping with the Gatherers at Savi's Workshop at 6:45. You may get some funny comments, but they will try to help with the little things that can make a difference, like bringing you the bill quickly after you've eaten.

Review the menu on the app before you arrive. Your server may have suggestions, but being familiar with the menu can help you make decisions more quickly. I would try to order as soon as your server brings your beverages. When it's time to hit the road, have your form of payment ready. Hand it to your server they bring you the bill, saving them time from having to come back for your credit card.

Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is a short walk (about 8 minutes)  if you go around Echo Lake heading toward Star Tours and then keep going past Muppet*Vision 3D. Savi's Workshop is across from Ronto Roasters. The workshop is hidden from the First Order, so I would suggest stopping by earlier in the day just to be familiar with the location. You can also open the My Disney Experience app; select the magnifying glass at the bottom of the screen; and search for Savi's Workshop. On the screen for Savi's, select "Get Directions" and the app will guide your walking path.

These are all just suggestions to smooth the experience for you. I do believe you can enjoy both of these as scheduled and all will be fine. Hakuna Matata!

Please come back to planDisney with any other questions as you plan your Walt Disney World Vacation. We've got your back, Daddy-O!

May the Force be With You!
