    Hi!:) I have a reservation for Port Orleans Riverside 11/13-11/19 garden view room. How do I make sure I get a Magnolia Bend room instead of an Alligator Bayou room? Also, what building/room can you recommend? Thanks in advance!:)

    Hi Sarah,

    Well, you have certainly chosen a great resort to stay in for your magical vacation. Disney's Port Orleans Riverside Resort is one of my favorites. The quiet southern charm is quite relaxing and the landscaping and beautifully appointed rooms offer a great place to return after those days at the parks.

    I would recommend making a request for the Magnolia Bend area on your reservation. To do this, you can call (407) W-DISNEY (934-7639) and ask the cast member to make the notations on your rooms reservation. Within this area of the resort, I prefer either the Magnolia Terrace or Oak Manor buildings. These are the closes to the main building with the front desk, Boatwright's Dining Hall, and Riverside Mill food court. In addition, Magnolia Bend is the closest to the East Depot bus stop. Keep in mind that these requests cannot be guaranteed and are based on availability at time of check in. However, the cast members will try their best to accommodate your requests.
