We have a 7:45am reservation at the Polynesian Resort character breakfast on Dec 25 2010 (for 6 of us), and I have just read that buses will not start until 7am. We are booked into the All Star Movie Resort. How do we get there? And on time?

Hi,Cherree! We are a family of six, and therefore, have to put a little more thought into logistics than smaller traveling parties do. So, I understand the potential of your dilemma of having to get several people up and on time to an early morning breakfast at another resort...especially on Christmas Day.

Although the WDW bus transportation system may run a little earlier than normal on that day, I would plan ahead by reserving a mini-van or SUV taxi at 7 a.m. to meet you at the porte cochere by the All Stars Movie Lobby. (Your resort's concierge can help you with contact information upon arrival.)  Depending on traffic, it can take as much as 20-30 minutes traveling from your area of the resort to the Polynesian, and you're going to want to allow extra time to arrive, check in and take your family's photo at the Lilo & Stitch's Best Friends' Breakfast. Your cab fare should not be terribly expensive -- maybe around $15 (+ tip) -- which, to me, is worth it for "peace of mind."

I hope this helps you plan. You are wise to think ahead! Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
