Aloha Kevin!
One of my earliest memories of Walt Disney World Resort was the luau I attended at
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort back in the 1970s with my family. I'm so glad that Guests still have the option to spend an amazing evening at
Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show. The show has been updated from when I saw it as a child but the tropical food and spectacular entertainment are every bit as enchanting as forty years ago. That's wonderful that you were able to get reservations.
The pools at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort are for the exclusive use of Guests staying at the resort. You need MagicBands (or some other proof that you are a registered Guest) in order to access the Lava and Oasis Pools. My favorite way to cool down while visiting Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is to purchase a Dole Whip from the
Pineapple Lanai at the back of the Great Ceremonial House or to take in some cool evening breezes in a hammock on the beach along Seven Seas Lagoon.
Enjoy your dinner show and feel free to post additional questions if there's anything else you'd like to know as you plan for your upcoming trip.
Sending best wishes and pixie dust,
Jill
