Welcome to planDisney, Stephanie!
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is one of my favorite hotels at Walt Disney World. My family is planning on staying here next year! Not only is it on the Monorail loop to Magic Kingdom Park, but you get a great view of
Disney Enchantment over Seven Seas Lagoon. The dining at this resort is also fabulous. On my most recent trip, I had breakfast at
Kona Café and enjoyed some delicious Tonga Toast.
Possibly my favorite feature of this resort is the Lava Pool, with its immense volcano, zero-depth entry point, waterfall, and super-fun waterslide. As an added bonus, the Tiki Kikis splash play area is perfect for any young Mousketeers. Also, did you know that you can walk a few steps from the pool and get a DOLE Whip at
Pineapple Lanai? It'd be wrong not to!
But "let's get down to business." Unfortunately, Stephanie, the pools at each Disney Resort are reserved exclusively for the Guests staying at that particular resort. Therefore, your family won't be able to join you, I'm afraid. I know that's not the answer you were hoping to hear. However, one option could be for them to join you at
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. They'd be able to enjoy both the thrill of Crush 'n' Gusher and the chill of Castaway Creek. You could then head to
Disney Springs afterward for a delicious (and much-deserved) meal.
Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' is a brilliant restaurant if you're looking for a recommendation.
I hope you have a magical trip, Stephanie. Thanks for stopping by planDisney.
See ya real soon!
Mike
