Disney Vacation Club corner of planDisney - so glad you found us! It never fails to make my day when I get to chat with a fellow DVC Member, and I'm here to offer some advice for making the most of your Membership before your points expire. Let's get down to business!
Although I did a LOT of homework before we joined DVC a decade ago, I really didn't appreciate the additional flexibility that exchanging
Vacation Points for reservation points brings. We had the opportunity to use the exchange process several years ago when one of our daughters had an event at
Walt Disney World so we could stay at the same hotel, and it's a great way to expand your accommodation options!
The reservation points can be applied at any Walt Disney World hotel that has availability for your travel dates, as well as the Disney Collection hotels worldwide. To start, take a look at the
Points Charts to see what's possible with the points that you're working with. Once you've done that, call
Member Services to book your plans. The Cast Members there will be able to check availability and make your reservations.
Beyond The Most Magical Place on Earth and the other Disney parks, you can also use reservation points for sailings with
Disney Cruise Line or travels with
Adventures by Disney and
National Geographic Expeditions. The possibilities for using your points are endless!
