HI! We have a reservation at 4 pm for Hoop De Doo Revue and will be at Epcot. What is the best way to travel from Epcot to Fort Wilderness? Also will we be able to make it to the 7pm Fantasmic firework show?

    Hi there Destanie,

Ooh!  Hoop De Doo is so much fun.  I will actually be experiencing this dinner show again on my upcoming trip and I am so excited!  It never gets old and the Fried Chicken and Strawberry Shortcake is to DIE for!

Since you'll be at Epcot before the show, you have a few choices for transportation but this one is the quickest:  You will need to take a Disney Transportation bus to the Magic Kingdom.  Once you arrive at Magic Kingdom, you can take a water taxi over to Fort Wilderness.  Just make your way over to the boats o and look for the dock marked "Fort Wilderness / Contemporary."  This is a scenic and relaxing way to travel between Magic Kingdom and Fort Wilderness and definitely the most time efficient with the least transfers. Your boat will dock at the Fort Wilderness Marina which is only steps away from Pioneer Hall, home to Hoop de Doo!

When you leave Hoop de Doo, you can go back the same way you came or you can hop aboard the internal Fort Wilderness bus which will be parked just outside Pioneer Hall when you exit.  This bus will deliver you to the front of Fort Wilderness where you can then catch a bus to Magic Kingdom or any of the theme parks or Downtown Disney.  Upon arrival to one of these destinations, you will be able to board a bus headed back to your resort if need be.  When navigating the Disney World transportation system, it helps to understand that buses to not travel between resorts.  You can only board a bus headed to your resort from Downtown Disney or one of the theme parks!

Hope this helps and Best Wishes,

    Amanda F.
