Welcome to
planDisney, Julie!
Excellent question! I’ll be more than happy to share with you what my family usually does for early morning
reservations.
I always say that arriving early, and having extra time, is much better than being late! I’m a stressor, so I much rather give my family a larger time cushion to prevent additional worries. I always plan on arriving 45 minutes to 1 hour earlier than my reservation time, I recommend you doing the same. That extra hour will give you time to walk over to the
Disneyland Resort, get through security, and line up at the front entrance.
There’s no separate line for Guests with reservations to use at the security checkpoint, but there’s usually one at the Disneyland Main Entrance turnstiles available for Guests with reservations to use. It's just the line at the security line that you’d need to plan for.
Julie, arriving early will be your safest option. I’m not sure about you, but I like to coordinate a cute outfit on my visits and there’s nothing worse than stress sweating! I’m hoping that planning ahead and arriving early will prevent this scenario for you.
Have a great visit,
enjoy your breakfast, and please wave hello to Minnie Mouse for me!
