How do I make a reservation with an physical ticket

Hello there, Karen! Welcome to planDisney. We are glad to have you stop by with your ticket question for us.

The holiday season is quickly approaching, and I'm thrilled to see that you will be experiencing all of the magic throughout the parks and the rest of the resort. If you already have tickets and they are physical tickets, theme park reservations are the next step to planning. The first thing you will need to do is head to the Disneyland website or Disneyland app and log in or create a MyDisney account. Once you are logged in, you will link your tickets to your account. The ticket should have a ticket ID number that you will use to link to the account. Once they are linked, you will be able to go through the steps of making theme park reservations. Should your plans change, theme park reservations can be modified or cancelled.

During your visit, don't forget that all of the holiday magic extends past the parks. You will find that the hotels and the Downtown Disney District will also have fun decor and happenings. Be sure to check out the Disney Parks Blog closer to your arrival date to see any holiday articles about what is available, as well as the Foodie Guide. I look forward to this every holiday season to see what treats I need to add to my list to try.

Karen, thanks again for taking the time to stop by! We are here for any other planning questions you might have.

Meet the Panelist: Carrie, California

Well hello there, friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mom and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. You'll find my family in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can. While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
