Hi YunChak!
You are just a week away from the magic. Can you already feel the pixie dust swirling? It is such a festive time to visit the parks with
Halloween Time in full swing, and this year, you will also get a taste of the
70th Anniversary as you navigate those happy haunts! It looks like you are planning to visit both Disneyland and California Adventure, so let's take a look at how you can maximize the magic!
First things first, let's get to your question so you can put the finishing touches on your planning. With a
Park Hopper ticket, you will only need a
theme park reservation for the park where you plan to start your day. After 11:00 AM, you are welcome to hop between the two as much as you like, and you do not need an additional theme park reservation for the other park. If you have added
Lightning Lane Multi Pass to your ticket, you will be able to make Lightning Lane selections across both parks after 11:00 AM as well.
I recommend taking a look at the
Entertainment Schedule ahead of time, especially since you will be able to spend time in both parks. This will help you plan out your day if there are any must-see shows, cavalcades, or nighttime spectaculars. If you plan it just right, you can catch the 9:00 PM showing of
World of Color Happiness! at California Adventure and the 10:30 PM viewing of the
Paint the Night Parade at Disneyland - two of my favorites! If you're looking for some seasonal fun, make time for Mickey and Friends Halloween Cavalcade, making its way down Main Street twice daily, and, of course, you won't want to miss Jack Skellington's takeover of
Haunted Mansion Holiday.
YunChak, I hope we've set you on a smooth course to a magical visit! If you have any more questions, we here at
planDisney love helping fellow Guests navigate their way through the pixie dust.
Magic awaits!
Tara
