Wonderful, Robert!
Twice the fun at the Disneyland Resort sounds like a magical time to me. I’d be happy to share some information about how to go about upgrading theme park tickets.
If you purchased your park tickets directly from Disney, you may be able to arrange for a ticket upgrade by reaching out to a ticket Cast Member via chat in the
Disneyland mobile app or on the
Tickets phone line. Normally, upgrading a
theme park ticket to another regular ticket of equal or greater value is done in person at the main entrance ticket booths. However, it is very important to remember that, in addition to tickets,
theme park reservations are required for entry into
Disneyland Park or
Disney California Adventure Park. Before heading to the parks, you will want to check that there are likely to be reservations available by checking the
theme park reservation availability calendar.
Some items you may need for upgrading your theme park tickets include your purchase confirmation number, the original form of payment, and your photo ID. If the original ticket has been partially used, the person who used the ticket is usually required to be present as well.
Tony’s Tip: If you don’t see park reservations available for the days you wish to visit, keep checking the
theme park reservation availability calendar. When other Guests change plans, their canceled reservations may become available for you to book. You might also consider
upgrading your theme park tickets to Magic Key passes. If the
Magic Key Access Calendar is separate from the regular ticket calendar. If the available dates happen to line up with your visits, it is an option worth looking into.
Thanks for the question here at planDisney, Robert. Please come visit again with any other questions you may have.
