We have a 4:20 reservation at park fare, we will be leaving Animal Kingdom to travel there. How much time do you think we need to have for travel, and what is the best way to travel from Animal Kingdom to park fare using Disney free transportation?

    Hi Lesa!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel

I am excited to see that you have a magical dining reservation at 1900 Park Fare, as the honored Guests of Cinderella and Prince Charming!  It is a great idea to plan this special day in advance because you do not want to be late for this Royal appointment.  You will need to take a Disney bus from Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.  It is recommended that you allow 60-90 minutes when using Disney Transport, but it really depends on whether there is a bus waiting for you, or if you have just missed one and have to wait around 20 minutes for the next one to arrive.  Then you must include your walks to and from the bus stops, and the actual journey time.  I would recommend you give yourselves plenty of time, and if that means you arrive at the Resort hotel early, then make the most of exploring the grounds and the beautiful lobby.

If you have time after your dinner you could take a boat to Magic Kingdom Park to enjoy the fireworks, or watch them from the pool area of Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.

Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions. We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation to Walt Disney World Resort.
