Hi, I have a 7:50 reservation at 1900 park fare dinner on Apr 18. I don't want to miss the parade at 9pm and fireworks at 10pm. Do you think we have enough time to get back to the Magic Kingdom? I heard that sometimes you don't get seated right away....

    Hi there Diane,

1900 Park Fare is one of my family's favorite character buffets.  The selections are wonderful, including a delicious cold strawberry soup!  During our last visit, my son was invited to dance with Cinderella.  He didn't wipe her lipstick mark off for hours!

You may be cutting it close if you want enough time for all of the characters at the dinner to make their way to your table, eat and then hop on the monorail back to the Magic Kingdom.  We have eaten here a number of times, and it usually takes just shy of an hour for Cinderella, Lady Tremaine, the step sisters and Prince Charming to swing by.  In my experience, we have been seated within ten minutes of our reservation time.  Assuming you are seated by 8pm, it only leaves you about 30 minutes to eat, head up to the monorail and find a spot on Main Street .    I would recommend trying to secure an earlier reservation or pick another night to head over for Wishes so that you can truly enjoy both your dinner and the nighttime entertainment at Magic Kingdom.

    Have a great vacation!
