The hardest part is already done! If you've secured your
Disneyland Resort tickets and
theme park reservations, all that's left to do is enjoy the magic and have fun!
How you'll enter the parks depends on where you're coming from on the day of your visit. If you're arriving by car, you can
park at either the Mickey & Friends or Pixar Pals Parking Structures, or the Toy Story Parking Area. From there, you'll hop aboard a Disneyland Resort tram or bus that will take you toward the main entrance area. Before entering, you'll pass through a security checkpoint where Cast Members will inspect bags and personal items, and you'll walk through a metal detector.
If you're staying at one of the
Disneyland Resort Hotels, your path to the parks may be a little different. Depending on your hotel and which park you're visiting first, you may stroll through the Downtown Disney District or enter Disney California Adventure Park through the convenient Grand Californian entrance.
Guests staying at a nearby Good Neighbor Hotel will often walk to the Harbor Boulevard entrance, where they'll also go through the security screening area before heading to the park gates.
To make sure your entry goes smoothly, have the
Disneyland mobile app downloaded, and your ticket linked to your account. To link your tickets, tap the three-line menu in the Disneyland app and select My Tickets & Passes. Next, tap the blue plus sign and choose Link Tickets & Passes. You can either scan each ticket or manually enter the ticket ID, and all your party's tickets will be connected to your account. Each Guest will scan their ticket and have their photo linked to the ticket for reentry.
No matter which route you take, your Disneyland adventure is just around the corner, and I bet the excitement is building! Since you'll be visiting during
Halloween Time, be sure to take some time to enjoy all the festive decorations, pumpkin displays, and seasonal treats throughout the resort. You may even spot a few happy haunts making their annual appearance!
