If I make a reservation to a park, can I change the date as the time gets closer if there’s availability to reserve on another date? If so, how do I go about doing that?

Hi there, Maureen! Welcome to planDisney! I’m so happy to chat about your trip to Walt Disney World in a little over a month!

Disney Park Pass Reservations are now necessary to ensure entry into the Theme Park of your choice. You'll be glad to hear that Park Pass Reservations can be modified! The availability of each Park is visible right on the Walt Disney World website. Availability is subject to change, so it could certainly be possible that you could see the dates you are looking for pop up! To make a new Park Pass Reservation, you will need to delete the one you have and then Reserve the new one. Make sure that you do it as soon as possible to avoid losing your preferred date. This is accomplished via your My Disney Experience account or the My Disney Experience Mobile App. If you need any additional help, do not be afraid to contact a Disney Travel Planner via telephone.

Maureen, I hope that this information helps you continue to finalize your vacation plans! Meanwhile, check out the Experience Updates pages to see the latest information on the changes and policies in place since the Disney Parks' phased reopening. Lastly, know that we would be so happy to see you here again anytime we can help in the future!

    See ya real soon!
