how do i make a reservation to a park

Hey there, hi there, Stephanie! Welcome to planDisney. We appreciate you stopping by with your question for us!

I hope you are getting excited about your upcoming trip to Disneyland! Making sure you have a park reservation is a very important step in your planning. If you purchased your tickets through Disneyland directly, you should already have a theme park ticket reservation. During the purchase process, you pick out the date of your visit and which park you want to visit. This becomes your theme park ticket reservation once you have completed the purchase of your tickets. To see if you already have a reservation, you can head to Future Plans in the Disneyland app or My Plans on the Disneyland website to check to see if you can see dates with park plans.

If you purchased tickets elsewhere, you first will need to link those tickets to your MyDisney account. Once your tickets are linked, you can make a reservation. On the Disneyland app, tap the "+" at the bottom of the screen, and select "Make a Park Reservation" and follow the steps to make your reservation. On the Disneyland website, head to the Theme Park Reservation page.

I always recommend to my friends that you take some time to check out the Disneyland app ahead of time and familiarize yourself with it since it is such a great tool to navigate the parks and your day.

Stephanie, thanks so much for stopping by! I hope your visit is full of magic!

Meet the Panelist: Carrie, California

Well hello there, friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mom and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. You'll find my family in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can. While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
