My reservation is paid, can I add a guest to my room? If so, what’s the cost?

Ahoy there Sabrena, and thanks for asking planDisney - consider your message in a bottle received! I'm so glad you'll be sailing on Disney Cruise Line soon - a hearty "Welcome Home" in advance!

A better question might be who wouldn't  want to join you and your crew on your upcoming cruise?! We've done our fair share of last-minute escapes to return to the Disney Cruise Line experiences we know and love, so we know how talking about your upcoming vacation with family and friends can lead to the sea calling them as well.

I know my crewmate Sherry had a great answer to this for another guest, so I'll give you the bearings to the same course she set: much of your ability to make changes and/or additions to your existing reservation comes down to two things - first, how you made your original booking ( whether with Disney Cruise Line directly, through a travel agent, or other means like Disney Vacation Club) and second, if your reservation is one with restrictions. If your reservation does have restrictions, there are additional regulations that may apply to the booking.

Presuming a savvy sailor such as yourself you booked through Disney Cruise Line directly, I'd start with calling a Disney Cruise Line Cast Member at (800) 951-3532.  Be sure to have your reservation number handy! There are a lot of variables that contribute to what changes can be made to your reservation such as your Stateroom Category, its maximum occupancy and again, whether it has any restrictions that may apply to your specific reservation.

Once the WONDERful Cast Members at Disney Cruise Line let you know if adding another Guest to your reservation is an option, they'll be able to guide you into port (pun TOTALLY intended) on any changes you are able to make - and just like that, you'll be one step closer to embarkation day!

However your party takes its final form, be sure everyone has reviewed the latest Know Before You Go information. There, you can be sure that your entire crew have everything in order - including being sure to download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App - to keep tabs on the excitement that awaits on embarkation day and every day on the ship thereafter! Pay particular attention to the Pre-Cruise Checklist, including the latest testing and health and safety requirements. This way, you can be sure nothing stands between you and what I consider the absolute BEST Disney vacation around!

Have a wonderful adventure, and please pull back into this port when you've got more questions!

    Fair winds and following seas!
